Microsoft launches new mobile technology under the banner Windows Mobile

Microsoft [Nasdaq: MSFT] today revealed plans to launch new software for mobile phone users under the banner Windows Mobile in its latest push to increase the popularity of its wireless services. In addition, it plans to release new personal digital assistants (PDAs) later this year, using software from several manufacturers including Hewlett-Packard, Dell and Fujitsu Siemens.
