MFN to re-emerge as AboveNet in summer

US wholesale carrier MFN has requested a hearing before the Southern District of New York’s bankruptcy court for August, intent on completing its emergence from bankruptcy 15 months after its financial collapse. MFN has also announced plans to change its name to AboveNet, taken from a company it acquired in 1999.
