GrameenPhone hits six million mark

Bangladeshi mobile market leader GrameenPhone has reached a total of six million subscribers, just two months after signing up its five millionth customer. The company says it added nearly three million users in 2005, and announced a new reward scheme for existing customers called ‘Thank You’, offering discounts and free talk time based on levels of usage.
