BT and The Cloud to offer city centre Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi service providers BT Openzone and The Cloud have announced plans to offer widescale Wi-Fi coverage in nine UK city centres by March. The duo will install Wi-Fi hotspots in around 500 BT payphone kiosks in Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham, Oxford, Cambridge and Liverpool, as well as the London boroughs of Kensington & Chelsea, Camden and Islington.
