BT inks GBP22 million outsourcing deal with Parity

UK heavyweight BT has signed a GBP22 million outsourcing deal to assume the management of internal communications and IT for UK-based IT services firm Parity Group. According to Paul Roche, general manager of e-Business at BT Global Services, under the terms of the five-year deal BT will assume control ‘from the desktop to the data centre’. BT won the deal ahead of a rival bid from outsourcing specialist EDS.
