RSS-Enabled Browsers

Certain Internet browsers, such as Firefox, have built-in RSS readers. Though each type of browser is different, generally speaking, each displays a symbol in the lower tool bar indicating that an RSS feed from this page is available. Simply click on that symbol and the feed will be added to your bookmarks and updated whenever changes are made on the feed.

Other browsers, such as Internet Explorer, cannot read RSS feeds. However, plug-ins such as Pluck are available. You may need to consult your system administrator for assistance installing these applications.

RSS Readers

There is also a variety of free, independent RSS readers available for download on the Internet. The easiest way to find them is to simply type "RSS Reader" in your favorite search engine. Mozilla Thunderbird & Feedreader are two of the most popular. As always, use caution when downloading new software from unknown sites. As above, you may need to consult your system administrator for assistance.
